Dear Students and Friends,
I am sorry to share that Yamuna Zake has passed away.
It was announced last week that she had been diagnosed with a rare cancer late last year. It progressed quickly and she was in her final days.
She passed on May 29, 2026.
Her daughter Yael wrote that “She was surrounded by the sea and love in Ibiza, exactly how she wanted it.”
Yamuna has touched all of our lives.
She leaves a legacy that continues to bless all of us.
